Sure, you could sit home gorging on potato chips and watch Ryan Seacrest. But if you’d rather get out and enjoy the dawn of 2023, here is a select list of things to do on New Year’s Eve in Central Florida!
New Year’s Eve in Central Florida for the Whole Family
Family Friendly
If your smaller family members have to be to bed well before midnight, then LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven is the place for you. Kid’s New Year’s Eve starts a little earlier here, kicking off as soon as the sun goes down, culminating with their fireworks extravaganza over the lake at 8 p.m.
All activities are included with an Annual Pass or Park Admission.
Teens and Adults
Start with New Year’s Eve, add in high energy dueling keyboardists, jokes and musical requests and you have an evening with Dueling Pianos at Balmoral in Haines City. The high-energy Dueling Pianos show will have you singing, laughing and dancing as the clock ticks towards midnight. Add in a gourmet dinner, dessert bar, and fabulous live music and you have a New Year’s Eve to remember. Tickets are $75 for adults, $40 for children under 12. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here. And if you like, earlier in the day you can have the kids splash around in the Balmoral water park.
For the Sophisticated Crowd
Live music, gourmet cuisine and a rooftop view of Lakeland make the New Year’s Eve Nineteen61 Rooftop Party a can’t miss event. The evening will include a live DJ, open bar, and hors d’oeuvres and small bites. The price is $150/person. Make reservations here!
Over at the Terrace Grille inside the historic Terrace Hotel, New Year’s Eve features not only three seating times of a grand buffet but New Year’s Eve afterparty in the Lake Mirror Room for the countdown to midnight. Reservations can be made here.
